We’ve rebuilt the Maverto Chrome extension — guidance now appears right where work happens

We’ve made a major upgrade to the Maverto Chrome extension — it’s now even better at solving a simple but expensive problem: the knowledge your team needs is rarely where the work actually happens.

Imagine you’re a new hire. You need to learn how a workflow works inside an ERP/CRM/admin tool, but instead of doing the work you end up:

  • searching for the right page in a company wiki,
  • reading documentation,
  • switching back to the tool,
  • then switching again because something doesn’t match or is outdated.

Every context switch costs time. And when documentation is missing or incomplete, it gets worse: newcomers interrupt experienced teammates, those teammates lose focus, and the same explanations happen over and over. The result is real operational waste.

The new Maverto extension brings guidance directly into context — on the exact page where you’re working. You can now choose the right content type for the situation:

Note — capture important context fast

Use a Note when you need a short, page-specific reminder:

  • “Fill this field only this way”
  • “If the customer is in the EU, check VAT”
  • “This button changes the status — be careful”

Notes aren’t “big documentation.” They’re lightweight guidance that saves minutes every day.

Update — announce what changed

Use an Update when something has changed and people need to know what’s different and what to do now:

  • a refund process was updated,
  • a button moved,
  • a new rule or restriction was introduced.

Updates help prevent the typical post-release chaos where people keep using the old flow and mistakes (and questions) spike.

SOP — standardize repeatable workflows

SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) is for repeatable processes that must be done consistently:

  • creating a user,
  • processing a refund,
  • escalating a carrier delay,
  • handling exceptions.

If a workflow repeats, it belongs in an SOP—so anyone can execute it correctly without guessing or hunting for answers.

The idea behind this rebuild is simple: less searching and less interruption — more confident execution in the moment. Maverto shows the right guidance when it’s needed and helps teams adopt changes faster without slowing everyone down.

If you’re shipping changes in internal tools and want fewer mistakes, fewer interruptions, and faster onboarding, that’s exactly what Maverto is built for.
